Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the Poke AI app, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Poke AI is an iOS app for collectors of Pokemon trading cards. It provides camera-based card recognition, market-price lookups, vault and deck management, per-card price alerts, and an optional Sell-on-eBay listing handoff.

Poke AI is an independent collector tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or any of their affiliates. Pokémon and all respective names are trademarks and copyright of those parties.

Poke AI is not a marketplace. We surface market data and deep-link to third-party listings (e.g. eBay) but we do not host listings or transact on your behalf beyond handing your listing metadata to those services when you choose to.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Poke AI
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• When account features ship, you may sign in with Apple or Google
• One account per person — do not create multiple accounts
• You may delete your account at any time in Settings

3. Subscription Required

Poke AI is a subscription-based service. The first three card scans are free. After that, scanning, vault saving, alerts, the Discover feed, and the deck builder require an active subscription.

• Weekly: $3.99 USD per week
• Annual: $39.99 USD per year

Prices shown are in USD. Local-currency pricing is set by Apple per App Store region and is shown to you before purchase. By subscribing you agree to the price displayed at point of purchase.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• The renewal charge is processed within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the active plan ($3.99/week or $39.99/year)
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the App
• Submit images or content you do not have the right to scan or upload
• Use the App to manipulate market prices or coordinate market activity
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the App

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Card Identification and Pricing Data

Card recognition is performed by computer-vision models. While we strive for accuracy:

• Recognition output may contain errors. Always verify the identified card before listing or grading
• Variants (reverse holos, stamped promos, errata, foreign-language printings) can be visually similar; we mark uncertain matches and offer a manual override
• Market prices are estimates derived from public secondary-market data and may lag, vary across regional markets, or differ from your actual sale price
• Grading multipliers are statistical estimates from comparable sales — not a grading prediction or commitment

Poke AI is an analytical and identification tool. Pricing information is informational only — not investment, financial, or grading advice. Always verify important decisions against the underlying data.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Poke AI app, its design, branding, and original code are owned by Poke AI
• Pokémon card art, set logos, and related marks belong to Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. We display them under fair-use principles for the purpose of card identification and collector cataloguing
• Vault contents, binders, decks, and wishlists you create are yours — you may export, share, or delete them at any time

8. eBay Listing Flow

When you choose to list a card on eBay through Poke AI, you authorize Poke AI to forward your listing metadata and photos to eBay's API on your behalf. The resulting listing is governed by eBay's terms of service. Poke AI is not a party to that listing or any subsequent transaction.

9. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy of card recognition, accuracy of pricing data, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poke AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial loss arising from decisions made on the basis of pricing data or recognition output.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Poke AI is operated. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable law.
